First Sight Baby Stories is a 30 minute video capturing the first moments of your baby's life. It  begins with a pre-baby interview that takes place about 2 weeks before your due date. It is here that you'll talk about how you met as a couple, why you decided to have children, and what you hopes for the baby. Then we will give you a "daddy-cam" for you so you can capture when contractions first start at home and then when you go to the hospital. At the hospital it is up to you as to what you would like on your video. If you prefer not to have certain body parts on the video, then you do not have to video it. We give you the camera so that you can still share in this special moment together without having someone else in the room. This will make your childbirth as comfortable and natural as possible. Once the baby is about 8 weeks old, we will do a post-delivery interview in which you tell us about the joys and stresses so far in the baby's life. Pricing The video includes a final DVD of 30 minutes that captures the pre-baby interview, the birth, and 8 weeks after the birth. You will receive 3 copies of the DVD, one for you and two for grandparents or godparents. Extra copies are available for $15 each. The video costs $1000 plus GST. A 50% deposit is required when booking a video. The rest is due at the time of the post-delivery interview 8 weeks following the birth.
